Started in the year 2000 the Computer Engineering Department has no looking back. In the past year itself the department has also got accreditation from NBA (National Board of Accreditation). Department believes in excellent interaction and generating one- on -one rapport with the who's who of the Computer industry, not only to learn from them but also to promote the career prospects of our students. We regularly conduct 'Corporate Interaction Programme' and Seminars aimed at developing direct communication with the corporate world. Computers in every kind of application need professional engineers to design set up and maintain high quality systems.

The Department offers B.Tech., M.Tech., Ph.D. and Dual (B.Tech + M.Tech) degrees. The Department has a comprehensive curriculum on topics related to all aspects of Computer Hardware and Software with an emphasis on practical learning. The course structure is up-to-date and includes courses on nascent topics to equip our students with the latest developments in Computer Science and Engineering.

The Department is well equipped with hardware as well as Software facilities. The Department has over 240 computer systems in 07 laboratories, Cloud Computing Lab, Computer Programming Lab, Software engineering Lab, Advance Programming Lab, Linux Lab, Multimedia System lab and Internet Lab. The labs consist of most advanced Dual Core, Core 2 Duo & P-IV systems with Windows NT/2003, Windows Vista/XP/2000 professional operating systems. Separate Linux lab with dual OS is available with advanced Networking facilities. All the labs are LAN connected with licensed software packages related to latest global techniques. 24 hour 1Gbps leased line Internet connection and multimedia Facilities are provided so that the students can develop and sharpen their technical skills.

Our faculty members aim at delivering top class education blending their rich research experience with classroom teaching. The Department has undertaken many research projects funded both by multinationals and government agencies.
